Lessons across all ten boroughs, from the city centre to the Pennine towns, with pickup near you.

Updated 21 October 2026

Our instructors teach across Greater Manchester's ten boroughs, in manual and automatic cars, with lessons picked up near you.

Ready for any route

Greater Manchester asks a lot of a new driver: trams on the street in several town centres, bus lanes, the M60 ring road and the motorways that meet it, multi-lane roundabouts, and Pennine hills on the edges. Our instructors teach on these roads every day.

Before your test, your instructor takes you through a mock test on the roads around your test centre, run the way an examiner runs it. But we never teach a route: DVSA doesn't publish them, and they change. We teach you to drive well anywhere, so whatever the examiner chooses, you're ready. What happens on the test.

How booking works

Enter your pickup postcode, choose manual or automatic, pick a time that suits you, and confirm your email or mobile to book. We confirm a DVSA-approved instructor who covers your area, and remind you before your lesson.

Driving test centres

Greater Manchester has nine practical driving test centres: Atherton, Bolton, Bredbury, Bury, Chadderton, Cheetham Hill, Rochdale, Sale and West Didsbury. You can book any of them, or any other centre, and find a driving test centre on GOV.UK.

Common questions

Do you do mock tests?

Yes. Before your test, your instructor runs a mock test on the roads around your test centre, the way an examiner would.

Do you cover my area?

Enter your postcode when you book. You'll see the times instructors who cover your pickup can teach.

Can I be picked up from school, college or work?

Yes. Choose your pickup postcode when you book, as long as it's in an area we cover.
