Cookies policy
We use only what's needed to make the website work and keep it secure. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Updated 19 October 2026
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in a similar way. This policy explains the ones we use.
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't use cookies to track you across other websites.
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the website and app to work, or to keep them secure. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, they don't need your consent.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
web_session | Cookie (HTTP only, secure) | Keeps you signed in. It holds a random token, never your password or personal details. | Until you sign out, or up to 90 days |
web-theme | Local storage | Remembers your choice of light or dark appearance, if you set one. | Until you clear it |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Script | Checks that a form is being sent by a person, not a robot, when you sign in or contact us. It may use limited information about your browser to do this. | For the check only |
| Stripe | Cookies on Stripe's checkout pages | When you pay by card, Stripe uses cookies on its own pages to process the payment and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy. | Set by Stripe |
Website statistics
We use Vercel Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular, so we can improve the website. It doesn't use cookies and stores nothing on your device. To tell visits apart for a day, it works out a code from your connection's details; that code is thrown away after 24 hours and your IP address isn't kept. We only ever see totals, never a record of you.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you won't be able to sign in or book lessons. Your browser's help pages explain how: for example Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
Changes
If we start using any other cookies, we'll update this policy first, and we'll ask for your consent where the law requires it.
For more about how we use personal information, see our privacy notice.
