Driving in Bury
Bury gives you town and country in one borough. Bury town centre has busy junctions, roundabouts and bus routes, the M60 and M66 are on the doorstep, and north towards Ramsbottom and Tottington the roads turn hilly and rural. Prestwich, Whitefield and Radcliffe have calmer residential streets to start on.
Your test in Bury
Bury has its own practical driving test centre, and Bolton and Rochdale are close by too.
In the weeks before your test, you'll do a mock test around your test centre, timed and marked the way an examiner marks it, so you know exactly where you stand. We don't teach a route, though: DVSA doesn't publish them, and they change. We teach you to drive well on any road, so the examiner can't surprise you. Find a test centre on GOV.UK.
