About us
A driving school that fits around your life: lessons booked from your phone, DVSA-approved instructors who cover your area, and clear progress all the way to your test.
Updated 21 October 2026
Learning to drive should be exciting. Too often it's held up by phone calls that don't get answered, waiting lists and not knowing how close you are to your test. We started Blitz Driving School to fix that.
A driving school built around your phone
With us, you book lessons the way you book everything else: in a few taps, at any time of day. You tell us where you'd like to be picked up and whether you're learning in a manual or an automatic, then choose a time. We find a DVSA-approved instructor who covers your area, confirm your lesson and remind you before it starts.
What we promise
- DVSA-approved instructors. Every instructor is approved by DVSA and has passed its checks, including a criminal record check. Each is either a fully qualified instructor (an ADI, with a green badge) or a trainee in the final stage of qualifying (with a pink badge). We always tell you which yours is, and if you'd rather have a fully qualified instructor, just ask and we'll find you a different one.
- Clear prices. You see the price of every lesson before you book it.
- Progress you can see. After every lesson your instructor records how you did on each skill, so you always know what you've mastered and what's next.
- Honest advice about your test. We'll tell you when you're ready, not before, because a failed test costs you time and money.
- Respect for your time. Reminders before each lesson, and simple changes if your plans move.
Where we teach
We teach across Greater Manchester: Manchester, Salford, Trafford, Stockport, Tameside, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton and Wigan.
How we work with instructors
Our instructors are self-employed professionals who choose their own hours and the areas they teach in. We handle bookings, reminders and payments, so they can focus on teaching. If you're an instructor, find out about teaching with us.
