Teach with us: driving instructor jobs in Greater Manchester

Pupils in your area, the hours you choose, and no more chasing bookings or payments. We handle the admin; you teach.

Updated 18 October 2026

Running a driving school on your own means hours of admin: answering calls, juggling diaries, chasing payments and filling gaps. With Blitz Driving School, we take that off your hands, so you can spend your time teaching.

What you get

  • Pupils in your area. Learners book lessons in the areas you choose to cover. You're only offered lessons you can reach.
  • Your hours, your way. Set the hours you want to teach, with different hours for different weeks if you need them. Block out holidays and one-off changes in seconds.
  • No chasing. Bookings, reminders and payments are handled for you. Pupils get reminders before every lesson.
  • Everything on your phone. Your week, your lessons, your pupils' progress and your earnings, all in one place.
  • Simple feedback. Record each pupil's progress after a lesson in a few taps, so they always know what to practise.

How lessons reach you

Depending on how the school runs its bookings, lessons are either assigned to you, or offered to every eligible instructor near the pickup so you can take the ones that suit you. Either way, you only see lessons inside your hours and your areas.

What we're looking for

  • A DVSA-approved driving instructor (ADI) with a valid ADI certificate
  • A dual-controlled car in good condition, manual or automatic
  • Insurance that covers driving tuition
  • A patient, encouraging teaching style, and a commitment to safe driving

You're self-employed, and we expect you to keep your ADI registration, insurance and car up to date.
